Lauren McDaniel
My name is Lauren McDaniel and I teach 5th grade here at Mount Holly Elementary. This is my 27th year teaching. I taught previously at Belleview Elementary in Rock Hill. I have taught 2nd, 4th, 5th, and even a single gender girl’s class, but by far, my favorite is
fifth grade. 🙂
I was born and raised in Chester, SC, where I still live. I graduated from Chester High School in 1995 and went to Winthrop University. I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education
in 1999.
I am very close with my family. I have two wonderful parents, a brother, a sister, a brother-in-law, and a nephew. My brother and sister are twins. My brother, Trey, is the PE teacher at Lesslie Elementary here in Rock Hill. My sister, Page and her husband Chuck have one son, Turner. He is thirteen years old. I am so excited
to be his aunt!
I love to travel, shop, and sleep!!!! My favorite places to visit are Cherry Grove Beach, Beaufort, SC, and Charleston, SC. I am a member of First Baptist Church in Chester. I also enjoy walking for exercise and listening to all kinds of music! Some of my favorites are Bon Jovi, Darius Rucker, and beach music. I am a huge University of South Carolina Gamecock fan! Go Gamecocks!
